serves as an anonymous, safe platform for teens to open up conversations and share their experiences in order to spread awareness on the nation-wide issue: teenage drug use/addiction.
Why we began.
According to the national institute on drug abuse, from 2017 to 2019 the percentage of teens taking part in the use of drugs nearly doubled in grades 8-12. we identified teen drug use as an issue not only within the Santa Clarita community, but nation-wide. Thus, assisteen was created to take a stance against teen drug use.
Our Goal.
we hope to provide a safe, open platform for people to share their experiences with the community to shed light on the prevalence and severity of the issue of drug abuse.
How to help.
Share your experiences and help make conversation! Spread awareness on the issue of teen substance use/abuse and connect with others struggling with similar issues. all experiences are valid and cherished.
